MY VIEWS

Gratitude for our caregivers for making the world a better place

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, I want to take a moment to wish you all a warm and happy holiday. I personally have many blessings to count in my life, and I am especially grateful for the 111,000 caregivers who are part of the Providence St. Joseph Health family.

Every morning, I reflect on the sacred encounters that our caregivers have with patients – and one another – throughout the day. And it reminds me how blessed I am to work with people who bring love and kindness, as well as their God-given talents, to every interaction.

To the caregivers of Providence St Joseph Health, you inspire and humble me every day. You make the world a better place, and I am grateful for all you do.

This Thanksgiving, I hope you find time to unplug, recharge and enjoy the company of family and friends. A special note of gratitude for those caregivers who will be working over the holiday. Thank you for being there for our patients in their time of need.
